I followed Alex Lowe's career until his death. I heard the news at a lecture being given by one of the team-members who found Mallory's body. An odd symmetry there, I suppose. This is a good book, and a loving account of an interesting life. - George R. R. Martin: A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, Book 4)
Another wonderful volume. I am amazed and occasionally appalled, at how brutal Martin is with his characters. - George R.R. Martin: A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire, Book 3)
This series is a true masterpiece of fantasy writing. Profane, dark, beautifully written, with some of the most powerful scenes I have ever read in the genre.

Some great performances, and some mediocre ones. Martha Wainwright singing Tower of Song is superb... A little Bette Midler, a little Janis Joplin, a lot of Martha. And the lyrics and melodies are all great. Leonard Cohen is one of my favorite songwriters. - Thom yorke: The Eraser
Really good work. More like Amnesiac than other Radiohead albums. Analyze hits pretty hard, as does Black Swan.
